I made the first piece in 2014 as a gift to a friend and every Animal since has been born out of the same energy of communion with design, craft, and belonging. We’ve been lucky to add to our crew and collaborators along the way and here we still are: deeply committed to making the very best work we can. If you look closely, you’ll see us in the stitching and painted layers coating every edge. These pieces are antennas of pride and love, reaching out from my pack to yours.

Raised in a family of artists, designers, and entrepreneurs, the creative life has always seemed inevitable. Whether working at Banshee Press printing letterpress, soldering belt buckles for a cowgirl jeweler, or scheming on absurd art videos, I have never been happier than when I’m making something. Art is my salvation and Animal is the gracious vehicle that gets me there.
