About Amanda

Amanda Laird is a growth marketing strategist and small business advisor helping established creative and service-based businesses turn unpredictable sales into more consistent, sustainable growth.

Rather than asking business owners to do more and more marketing, Amanda helps them understand their metrics, figure out what’s actually working, and focus their energy where it can have the greatest impact. Her work is about more than getting results. It’s about helping business owners feel clearer, calmer, and more confident about marketing and sales so they can build businesses they actually want to stay in.

Best Fit

Amanda loves working with established service providers, creative businesses, and solo business owners who have made sales, but still feel like those sales are happening more by luck than strategy.

Her ideal clients are putting a lot of effort into marketing without seeing the return they expected. They want to understand what is actually driving growth, where to focus their energy, and how to create more predictability without feeling like they have to do THE MOST.

She’s especially excited to work with solo creative entrepreneurs who are doing things their own way and want to shift their relationship with marketing, sales, and their business as a whole.

Signature Services

Marketing Audits & Strategy Roadmaps

Digging into the numbers to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and where the biggest opportunities for growth actually are. Amanda turns those insights into a clear roadmap so business owners know where to put their time and energy.

Ongoing Advising

Longer-term strategic support for business owners who want someone in their business with them as they make decisions, test strategies, and build more consistency and stability over time.

Small Group Cohorts

Collaborative programs that help small business owners better understand their marketing, sales, and metrics while building a more intentional approach to growth.

What Makes Amanda different?

Amanda doesn’t just help people “get results.” She helps them change their relationship with marketing, sales, and their business.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that more marketing isn’t necessarily better marketing. Instead of handing clients an endless list of things they should be doing, she uses metrics to identify what’s actually contributing to sales and where their effort will have the greatest return.

The goal is sustainable, long-term growth that helps people stay in their businesses. Amanda wants her clients to walk away feeling confident, clear, calm, energized, excited to do their marketing and, ideally, richer too.

— Emily Griswold, Founder of 11:11 Wellness

“I have much more clarity around what works and where to put my energy for the greatest return on my time, which has resulted in increased sales and feeling a lot more in control and relaxed about planning for different seasons in my business throughout the year.”

Favorite Advice

Marketing feels hard because it IS hard. Not because you're doing anything wrong, babe!

Amanda’s work helps take some of the mystery and pressure out of marketing by replacing guesswork with information. When you understand what’s working, you can make clearer decisions instead of assuming the answer is always to do more.

A Few Fun Things

Favorite small business: Dahlia May Flower Farm. Amanda orders her dahlia tubers from them every year and loves both their flowers and the owner’s openness about the realities of running a small business.

Coffee or tea? Coffee!

Favorite movie: The Wedding Singer. She could watch it a million times.

Something you might not know: Amanda really, really loves TV. She’s always watching the latest HBO prestige show, and when she isn’t watching TV, she’s probably listening to a podcast about TV. If she could go back in time, she would have gone to film school and tried to become a TV writer.
