About Kelsey
Kelsey Gilbert-Kreiling is the founder of Week of the Website, a sprint-based web design agency helping businesses and entrepreneurs create websites that actually work as a tool for their business.
Since 2014, the Week of the Website team has built a process designed to get exceptional websites live quickly, without sacrificing the thoughtfulness, personality, or collaboration that can get lost in a traditional agency process.
Best Fit
Week of the Website works with nonprofits, authors and influencers, professional service businesses, hospitality groups, and other mission-driven organizations that are ready to invest in a website that better reflects what they’ve built.
Their ideal client is often the person making the decisions and deeply connected to the work, whether that’s a nonprofit executive director, a marketing director, or the founder of a growing business. They have a budget and understand the value of a great website, but they’re also accountable for how that money gets spent.
Kelsey especially loves working directly with the people who built the thing. They already know their customers and have an identity of their own. Week of the Website’s job is to build a site that finally sounds and feels like it.

Sprint-Based Squarespace Web Design
Week of the Website’s bread and butter. Their sprint-based process takes clients from kickoff to a real, live Squarespace website in a week or two rather than stretching the process across six months.
Concierge-Level Ongoing Support
The relationship doesn’t have to end when the website launches. Clients can keep the team on hand for updates, content, maintenance, and the day-to-day website needs that come with running and growing a business.
What Makes Kelsey different?
Week of the Website is fast and exceptional, and Kelsey doesn’t believe clients should have to choose between the two.
The work stays with their team rather than being outsourced, which means clients build actual relationships with the people designing and managing their site. The process is highly collaborative, giving the team the opportunity to understand not just what someone says in a kickoff call, but what they’re really trying to build.
There’s also a lot of heart in the details. The team sticks around, gets in the weeds, makes extraordinary 404 pages, and sends handwritten postcards when a project wraps. The goal is for clients to feel like they found a partner rather than hired another vendor.

Client Perspective
“Working with Website of the Week was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a creative/tech team—and I’ve worked with a lot of them. What blew me away was the combination of creativity and precision. They weren’t just building a site for my practice—they were anticipating needs, solving problems before I even asked, and delivering a finished product that feels like an exact reflection of my brand.”

Favorite Advice
Don’t overspend on optimizing for problems you don’t have to solve yet!
Kelsey believes in building for what a business actually needs now rather than overcomplicating things in anticipation of every problem it could possibly encounter later.
